Geez, when you read the article it's darn hard to find ANYTHING wrong with the idea- unless you're a teacher. But c'mon you could get the same amount of time off and spread it out over the year. Who's with me on this?
Tomorrow begins 57 weekdays of summer vacation. Yesterday I bought soy vodka.

Well, they haven't gone to year-round, but they HAVE changed the school year around, in our county. They still have a summer break, but it's not 3 months like it was when I was a kid, more like 2. The rest of the time is spread out through the year in 1 week breaks. Which is kinda cool, go to school for a month or 6 weeks, get a week off, then back to school for a couple weeks, then xmas break, then back to school... well, you get the idea.
I disagree - I love the long lazy days of summer, not having to get up early and get them out of the house. I wish summer vacation lasted longer
Most likely you ask me the same question in 6 weeks and I'll have a different answer.
