There are times in a mother's life when she gets all misty eyed. the first steps, the first tooth, the first kiss, the first date/prom/dance.
This weekend I had one of those moments:
The first mother-daughter matching shoe purchase.
God help me. She's only nine.

My girls are old enogh that we can all share clothes and shoes. It's like having three different wardrobes to choose from.
