Today I received a big box of pretzels that I had ordered from Pennsylvania. UNIQUE SPLITS . The Best. I am sick that I love the burned ones and even pay more money for some yahoo in Funky PA to overcook my pretzels.

I love white chocolate covered pretzels and mustard pretzels. Mmmmm.
Although I do love the regular sticks, I really love soft pretzels with mustard. Just not to often because then I would get sick of them.

I like the soft ones you can get from the truck. Almost like bagels, sorta dough-ey. I love me some carbs.
Funny thing. I met a German guy a few summers ago and heard he made the BEST soft pretzels-- I asked and he made some. Yep. The best. Then he told me how they eat them for breakfast like we eat toast and admitted that the way we Americans dip our soft pretzels in mustard pretty much disgusted him-- about the same way I feel when I see someone eating a butter slathered Auntie Anne's pretzel at the mall.

I love the thick huge sourdough pretzels with big chunks of salt. Num! Makes me want one right now. . . and hope no stripper surprised you last night :-)
