Where did the year go?

Or for that matter? Where did the decade go?  I'm still not sure what they're even calling it.. the two thousands??
sigh.

Having a year fly by, usually means it was filled with adventures— hopefully the kind with happy endings—not that I'm suggesting you visited a massage parlor this year. *twists lips and throws away the key.

As I collect my thoughts going into the year end wrap up AKA the family annual report/Christmas newsletter/electronic holiday greeting card from a cheapskate, I find there is much more good stuff than bad and much more forward motion than quicksand-stagnant zombie catching stuff in this "odd" year... and I am really looking forward to 2012. The "even" year of change.

  I might have spent too much time on Facebook building up multiple pages and acquiring more than 14,000 friends.
