Tired of Remakes and Reruns.

Musicians do it all the time. Sometimes I like the remakes better, and yes, both artists reap the benefits, also the songwriter. When authors do it, you have to look a little harder, but still it's there. Of course, Hollywood does it ALL the time. These are just a few of their unoriginal additions to TV and film.

When is enough enough? I'm not even going to go into the fact that most of America's popular TV shows were stolen from other countries and remade.... it's downright embarrassing.
More and more I believe in the 7/20/36 plot theory. Especially when someone tells me I remind them of someone and ALWAYS when I experience deja vu.

Well, there you go. It's crazy that everything can be boiled down to just a few ideas.

Good point.

And.

Can I confess the Dukes remake worked for me? I have no excuses for myself other than a juvenile puerile sense of humor.

"We prefer Appalachian-American."

It's not right how hard that made me laugh.

Remember that the original "Addams Family" was a TV adaptation of a series of one-panel printed cartoons.
